Optimizing and troubleshooting databases
To optimize database performance, you can set properties for individual databases and configure the database cache to improve overall database access time on a server. To keep a database size to a minimum, you can set database properties that save disk space, compact databases, set database size quotas, and regularly delete inactive documents in databases.
